** The Material Plane is Terrainia and as such it is focus of the rest of this database **
Terrainia and its orbiting suns and moons, exist in a vast open realm of space, millions of rocks float aimlessly around, but nothing else holds life. Along with the Astral Plane (Theorum) and the Mirror Plane (Etherium) it comprises the Mortal Plane, so called as these are the planes where mortal life exists, life elsewhere is not considered to be mortal.
In an age long since passed, the gods themselves walked upon the mortal plane, shaping the world as they saw fit. Now left in the hands of their creations, the world is left to fend for itself.

The material plane to mortals is the planet Terrainia, although it goes by many names. It is similar to Earth, it has bodies of water, land masses, areas that are hot, cold and areas that cycle through from hot to cold as the time of the year passes. The biggest difference between Terrainia and Earth is that Terrainia is stationary, its gravity created by The Void itself. The two suns and 5 moons orbit the planetoid equally unable to escape the pull of the void in the centre. | ||||||||||

To most mortals the orbiting bodies are just the suns and moons, the suns bringing light and warmth, the moons reflect moonlight and affect the tides, weather and earth. But these are the Material Plane reflections of the elemental planes, just in view through the sheer power each contains. |
