Ank was conquered by an invading force Orcs a few hundred years ago, although many died and King Ralor was very displeased with the attack, it was so swift and bloody that they conquered the land before he could mount a counter offensive.

He gathered his forces on his side of the bridge, but the Orcs never tried to cross, and with that he ordered a blockade of the bridge, but to this day not a single Orc has attempted to cross.

Led by a single large Orc who was fed up with losing his kin in Tavin, he stole a few ships and took with him a force just enough to take and hold the area now known as Ank
