Stonemason

CITIZEN DESCRIPTION

A stonemason cuts and shapes stone for building processes, including building decoration such as columns and pedestals. While a standard mason will work in stone, a stonemason's skill is vastly superior and much rarer.

Stonemasons often teach their children, so the skill is passed down, this inherently keeps numbers low, and only stonemasons that go on to become master masons will teach others.

Player Backgrounds

Players can start as a Stonemason or use as a background when creating an Adventurer All player characters and non-player characters with a class are adventurers; even if they reach the level of champion, hero or legend, they can still be referred to as adventurers. .

While players are generally free to select a citizen role as a background, they should check with the Dungeon Master to make sure it fits within the local area, other party members and does not conflict with the intended adventure.

Party integration

A Stonemason can be hired on Commission Paid to provide a service or craft an item, often under contract, but the person or company being hired is free to complete the service as they see fit. by an Adventurer All player characters and non-player characters with a class are adventurers; even if they reach the level of champion, hero or legend, they can still be referred to as adventurers. .

When lifting, pushing or carrying anything that requires a number of characters, count as double this character's normal amount. Does not suffer fatigue when taking Actions.

Citizen Portrait

Citizens have proficiencies in weapons and armour relative to their type and region, so it is not included in the above information, and players do not gain any proficiencies from choosing a citizen background.
