The Elemental Plane Theyran

More often called the plane of earth or stone, Theyran is composed of great floating islands skimming over a visually never ending sea of acid.

Connected to the Material Plane by the Deadwood Gate, a huge stone ring submerged somewhere in the Blackmarsh region, through which a river of acid flows deep into the bowls of Terrainia.  While a thousand feet above the gate floats a colossal island, kept suspended by the waves of magnetic energy from the gate.

The Element Gates

The elemental planes were once seperate realms unconnected to each other, but when the Entity was forced to stop the Void from consuming everything it bound each of the plains to the material plane.

At first these conenctions were wild and free, openly changing the world of Terrainia, but once he woke from his great slumber he bound these connections into stone, and now, millions of years later these five great Elemental Gates still keep all the planes safe and connected.

Planar Gate Within Theyran

The gate within Theyran is locked away beneath the Fortress of Granite, carefully carved tunnels allow the natural acid springs to flow into the gate.

Planar Gate on the Material Plane

Within the Material Plane the Gate is hidden from mortal eyes, the unknown power behind the floating island, the barbarians believe it held aloft by the power of their warlord.
